I don’t know about you but I am always amazed by how fast kids grow! One minute the pants I bought are a little big and the next they are way too small. This is why I really like finding budget-friendly ways to buy clothes for my daughter. I do that in a few different ways but one way is by shopping consignment sales!

How to Sell Your Items at The Mother Load’s Consignment Event
The MotherLoad has created a consignment event where consignors receive up to 70% of the selling price on their gently used children’s and maternity items. Consigning is easy! Simply prepare your gently used kids, infant, and maternity clothing, toys, and baby gear and then drop these items off at the sale location. They also offer a Busy Mom’s Tagging service where they price, tag and drop-off your items at the sale for you!

The Mother Load Gives Back to the Community!
Everyone wins at The MotherLoad! In addition to consignors making money and shoppers saving money, the community also wins. This is because, with each sale, The MotherLoad works with a local non-profit organization to donate leftover items. After the sale ends, they send the leftover donations to the non-profit in order to get the items into the hands of those who need them.
In the past, the MotherLoad has worked with Oasis of Hope, a Pregnancy and Parenting Support Center in Medina, Stand Up for Downs, Providence House, and Granger United Methodist Church in Medina who provides items for the Appalachian Mountain region where poverty is at an all-time high.

How it all started…
The owner, Denise Walsh, first became acquainted with consignment sales when she started shopping for her first grandchild. She wanted to help her daughter find like-new, inexpensive clothing. Now, she is shopping for 7 beautiful grandchildren. She had a dream to start her own seasonal consignment sale. She also wanted to find a way to provide clothing for those in need in the community. Starting The MotherLoad fulfilled both of those dreams.
