It’s officially Summer… well, the calendar doesn’t say that yet but it sure feels like it! School is out, the weather is nice, and we are looking for any and all excuses to be outside!
If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Sharon Showcase is happening this Saturday, June 12th from 11AM – 11PM! This is an Art & Music Festival in the Sharon Center Circle (1322 Sharon Copley Rd) and it is hosted by Access the Arts.
There is a lot to do and see at the festival so everyone in your family will have fun. Here is a list of things to expect:
- Performances in the gazebo all day
- LOTS of food vendors including Blue Heron Brewery, Master Pizza, Sassy Dog, Ddad’s To Go
- Beer & Wine Garden
- Over 70 art and local business vendors
- Many children’s activities & games during the day (Jungle Terry at 12:15 PM)
- Large concert starting at 6 PM with Rachel Brown and the Beatnik Playboys and then headliners, The Buck Naked Band, playing at 8:30 PM. ($5 admission after 5:30 PM)
If you are free this weekend, I hope you stop by the Sharon Center Circle to enjoy the art & music, support the local vendors and businesses, and have some fun with others in the community. After everything that we have been through, it is really nice to get together and it means A LOT to the small business when we show them some support!
